Judy & Antonio were in such a hurry to tie the knot that they eloped a few months back. Of course, they still wanted to celebrate such a milestone with their friends and family. The Jewel Tea Pavilion was the perfect spot for this bi-national celebration. It is hidden inside Citizen's Park in Barrington Park District property. It so open and airy! They had a very small vow renewal in which 7 loved ones gave readings of good will. Upon walking down their very long aisle, guests were greeted by the sweet sounds of Mariachi. Antonio's family is from Mexico and Judy's family is from Poland, they were determined to showcase their roots. Along with Mariachi, there was a taco bar during cocktail hour. Mexican cokes were the drink of choice and guests were gushing over the cactus salad.
Once everyone was seated for dinner, their siblings made a round of hearty toasts. Judy and Antonio then cut their cake and thanked their guests. Suddenly, Polish dancers showed up and put on such an amazing show. The energy in the room was through the roof.
Just then, a thick layer of fog rolled in, it surrounded us! I've never had fog at a wedding, it was magical! 2 minutes after we went back in, they were being lifted in chairs as the dancing continued.
THEN, the supermoon! It was big, it was bright and it was red. From then, it was sparklers and smores.
Congratulations you two! What a day, we will never forget.
